Band pass Filter Glass
Belonging to a type of optical filter glass, optical characteristics:
Allow only a certain continuous wavelength of light to pass through;
Light shorter than this wavelength and longer than this wavelength is absorbed/blocked.
Simple understanding:
Set up a transparent "channel" where light passes through and is intercepted outside the channel.
1) Absorption type bandpass colored optical glass (body glass, uncoated)
Does not shift wavelength with incident angle of light (oblique illumination, unchanged transmission band)
Can be cut, edged, punched, and used in combination with high borosilicate substrates
Stable structure, no risk of membrane detachment, high temperature resistance
2) Interference type coated bandpass filter (thin film coated type)
The bandwidth can be made very narrow and the blocking ability is extremely strong (deep cutoff)
